He worked as a research engineer in Communications and Spectrum Management Research Center, Turkey between 2004 and 2006. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Keio University, Yokohama, Japan in 2010. His research interests are in the field of communication theory and signal processing. He is the recipient of IEEE VTC Young Researcher’s Encouragement Award (2008) and IEICE Student Paper Award (2007). Dr. Kizilirmak is a member of IEEE and IEICE.
