The 7th International Conference on Nanomaterials and Advanced Energy Storage Systems (INESS-2019).
The 7th International Conference on Nanomaterials and Advanced Energy Storage Systems (INESS-2019) was organized by Nazarbayev University (NU), Institute of Batteries (IoB), National Laboratory Astana (NLA) and Kazakh National University (KazNU) and was held on August 7-9 in Almaty at Kazakh National University Library . Researchers from Singapore, France, Korea, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, China, Taiwan and Kazakhstan participated in the conference to share their knowledge about the latest development in the field of nanomaterials, energy conversion, storage systems, modelling and nanobiology. The participants presented their works during the poster sessions as well, and the best Young Researcher Poster Awards were awarded to Ilya Korolkov from The Institute of Nuclear Physics, Yang Li from Northwestern Polytechnical University in China and Assel Serikkazyyeva from National Laboratory Astana. For the works on nanomaterials for energy, the main idea was clearly stated as the development of advanced materials and systems for effective and clean production and storage of energy. The participants stated that INESS, although keeping an almost constant number of participants, is a rapidly growing conference in terms of its level, and became a well-recognized international platform to exchange the ideas and build new collaboration.
